SAAS Startup Whatfix raised $3.6 million (about Rs 24 crore) in an early round of funding led by Stellaris Venture Partners according to ET

The series-A round also saw participation from Helion Ventures, Powerhouse Ventures and a few angels including, Freshdesk founder Girish Mathrubootham, Aneesh Reddy of Capillary Technologies and Silicon Valley-based investor Gokul Rajaram.
Alok Goyal, partner at Stellaris Venture Partners, will join the Whatfix board. WhatFix is founded in 2013 headquatered in bengaluru
WhatFix Co-founder and CEO, Kadim Batti said,
“At Whatfix, we are building a solution that provides just-in-time contextual help for any web application. This round of funding will take us a step closer to our vision in providing businesses with a next-gen performance support solution
We have added about 15 Fortune 500companies in the last six months. Now with the fresh funding coming in, we are looking to expand further in the US.”
Whatfix garners about 60% of its business from the US while 15% comes from India. The four-year-old company wants to deploy parts of new capital into product development strengthening the technology infrastructure as well.
Stellaris Venture Partners Alok Goyal Said,
“User onboarding, training and support are challenges faced by pretty much all enterprises, which collectively spend $500 billion on software every year. Whatfix’s product is a huge improvement to the current approach of user help through static articles and manuals.”
