Cross-border ecommerce Scale Labs raises $1 Mn

Scale Labs, a cross-border e-commerce enabler for brands and online retailers, has raised nearly $ 1 Mn seed funding from GPA Group, led by Vivek Agarwal, said co-founder and chief operating officer Pramod Panchagnula.

The Gurugram based startup will utilize these funds for tech development and expand its operations in India, Dubai and Hong Kong through acquisitions.

This e-commerce enabler for brands and online retailers help to Scale their business in international markets. They envision to enable brands with cutting-edge business services and tech products to address a global audience and to let their clients pioneer as a global trend.

Kiran Kumar, Co-founder, and CEO of Service Labs said in an interview to INC42,” Despite the potential of reaping in high-value orders, and even high-ticket size funding in due course of time, we believe that Scale Labs found the right opportunity in cross-border services.”

Scale labs offers a variety of services to its clients like:

ScaleX: A product feed automation tool for brands, it enables sales across multiple online channels
Scale Ship: A shipping automation tool for brands to fulfill their B2C orders across marketplaces, dot-com stores etc.
Scale Freight: An all in one freight solutions comparison tool for brands to fulfill their B2B shipments.

Through these models, the company earns commissions of about 5-15% and with this has been able to clock in revenues of about INR 80 Lakhs to INR 1 Cr every month.
