The Economic Times Catapooolt Changemakers season 2, round 2 made a prominent victory by contributing to the history of crowdfunding, raising a total amount of INR 27,45,000 in past 30 days with 1100 backers.

Crowdfunding has never been so amusing with such 32 disruptive ideas on a single platform competing to raise the highest, making its way through Media Buzz, Marketing, Idea validation and Mentor support.

With such active participation and 32 ideas getting launched on a single day, the changemakers competition captured the limelight of Asian Book of Records.

To understand the loopholes or pitfalls of crowdfunding, 10 actively dedicated mentors were working with their teams rigorously in helping them assist their deck improvement, how to raise funds via crowdfunding, how to market their product, how to strategise alliance and how to channelize their product. The active participation and self motivation benefitted the campaign owners with Mission 75.

Therefore, the Changemakers who raised INR 75,000 timely received “Backers Directory” for their future marketing endeavours. Furthermore, all Changemakers received $1000 worth hosting credits as an additional privilege. Media partners graciously covered all Changemakers and brought together 70 coverages across all media platforms.

After the uphill battle, the top 12 Changemakers boarded its direct entry to the grand finale by raising maximum funds. Rest who raised INR 75,000 were made to pitch to a panel of investors, summing up the 15 Changemakers paving their final positions to the Grand finale.

All 32 creative ideas were felicitated with the Asia Book of Rewards certificate, on the other hand the top 15 Startups who qualified for the finale were given an advantage of winning the Alpha Card. The founders of member companies that have graduated from top accelerator programs qualify for Alpha membership.

After such prominent victory, the Grand finale must surely not be a cakewalk as all 15 changemakers have incredible transformational ideas which will give wings to Indian’s biggest “Make in India” movement.

The Grand finale is all geared to set the stage in the month of August at a Co-Working space in Gurgaon, a 500+ seater India Inspired and Open Farm Style. The Grand finale’s one hour TV Show will also be covered on Doordarshan.

This finale will have Top15 Startups pitch to over 30 serious investors for equity investment. The event will be an Invite Only and graced by Investors, Government Dignitaries, Media, Corporate Honchos, Key Stakeholders of Startup Ecosystem, Entertainers and an Iconic Celebrity.
